1. Services Offered

Wee Music School ("we," "our," or "us") offers the following services:

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Payments are processed automatically on the 1st of each month.
2.2 Payments are processed through Stripe via the MyMusicStaff platform.
2.3 By agreeing to these terms, you authorise Wee Music School to charge your chosen payment method on the 1st of each month for services to be rendered that month.
2.4 We offer a "Flexed" payment option—a fixed monthly amount that covers term-time lessons across the year, spread equally over 12 months. This amount is charged year-round, even during months without lessons.
2.5 You can withdraw from Flex payments anytime, except in June or July. Withdrawal defaults you to pay-per-lesson invoicing from the following month. You cannot restart Flex payments until the following August.
2.6 Late payments will incur a fee of 5% of the total invoice if payment is not received within
7 days of the due date.

3. Scheduling of Lessons, Classes, and Events

3.1 All lessons, classes, and events are scheduled via the calendar in the Wee Music School Portal (MyMusicStaff).
3.2 The calendar in the Portal is the definitive record of all lessons, classes, and events and is used for calculating invoices and tracking attendance.
3.3 It is the responsibility of both the teacher and the student (or parent/guardian) to ensure that the calendar remains 100% accurate. Any changes must be reflected in the Portal immediately.
3.4 There should never be an instance of a misunderstanding regarding the time, date, or location of a lesson, class, or event, as the Portal is the authoritative source of scheduling information.
3.5 If a discrepancy arises, the information in the Wee Music School Portal will be considered the correct and final version.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

4.1 Once payments are processed on the 1st of the month, all lessons for that month are considered locked in.
4.2 We maintain a strict no refund and no rescheduling policy.
4.3 Teachers may, at their sole discretion, offer to reschedule lessons if their timetables allow. This is not guaranteed and is subject to teacher availability.

5. Eligibility

5.1 There are no strict age restrictions for our services. Enrollment is subject to the teacher's assessment of their ability to effectively teach the student.

6. Instruments

6.1 Instruments may be available for hire, subject to availability.
6.2 Hired instruments must be treated with care and returned in the condition they were received, allowing for normal wear and tear.
6.3 The borrower will be liable for the full value of the instrument if it is damaged beyond repair due to negligence or misuse.

7. Lesson Materials and Exams

7.1 Students are expected to purchase their own lesson materials as required by their teacher.
7.2 If a student is entered for an exam, with the consent of the bill payer, any associated costs will be passed on to the bill payer. The teacher will notify the bill payer of any exam-related costs in advance.

8. Online Lessons

8.1 Online lessons may be offered at any time, subject to mutual agreement between the student (or parent/guardian) and the teacher.
8.2 Online lessons can be a useful alternative in cases of minor illness or other circumstances that prevent in-person attendance.

9. Student Expectations

9.1 Students are expected to engage in regular practice as advised by their teacher.
9.2 Students should attend lessons with a positive attitude and readiness to learn.
9.3 If a student consistently fails to meet these expectations, Wee Music School reserves the right to discontinue lessons.

10. Photographs and Video Recording

10.1 As part of our activities, we may take photographs and record videos of groups, ensembles, individual performers, and training events.
10.2 These materials may be used by Wee Music School (and our partners, where applicable) for purposes such as publicity, display at concerts, our website, social media,
assessment, education, and fundraising.

10.3 When used for publicity, display, or website purposes, photographs and videos will not be accompanied by any personally identifiable information about the student.
10.4 Parents or guardians must consent to our photography and video policy when registering their children for lessons.

10.5 We use images on the basis of our legitimate interests, but we recognize that individuals may wish to withhold or withdraw consent. In such cases, we will delete the
photograph or video and not distribute it further.
10.6 Inappropriate images that might cause distress will not be used.

11. Withdrawal from Lessons

11.1 If a student wishes to withdraw, they should inform their teacher and the school (hello@weemusicschool.co.uk) as soon as possible.
11.2 Lessons until the end of the current month will remain scheduled, and the student can choose to attend or not. No refunds will be given.
11.3 Any lessons scheduled for the following month and onwards will be removed from the diary.
11.4 Your MyMusicStaff account will be deactivated to prevent further charges.
11.5 Any hired instruments or borrowed materials must be returned immediately; otherwise, the replacement value for the hired instrument may be billed.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Any disputes or complaints should be directed to Aden Mazur at aden@weemusicschool.co.uk.
12.2 We aim to resolve all disputes to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

13. Limitation of Liability

13.1 Wee Music School's liability is limited to the fees paid for the services in question. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
13.2 All teachers maintain appropriate liability insurance.
13.3 Wee Music School is not responsible for accidents, equipment failures, or harm arising. from student negligence during lessons, whether in-person or online.

14. Force Majeure

14.1 Wee Music School is not liable for failure to perform any obligations under these terms due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseeable events.
14.2 However, our month-to-month booking and cancellation policies will remain in effect regardless of such events.

15. Changes to Terms and Conditions

15.1 We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
