Learn to play the music you love. We offer expert, welcoming lessons in Aberdeen and Edinburgh to help you master your instrument and build lifelong confidence.
Whether you're drawn to the piano, violin, or voice, our experienced teachers are here to help you unlock your musical potential. Growing out of the Wee String School in 2021, we now proudly teach over 220 pupils across Scotland, offering a diverse range of lessons in strings, woodwind, brass, and more.

We provide weekly, one-on-one lessons with dedicated teachers who know how to bring out your best. Whether you need individual, group, or ad-hoc sessions, we can tailor the experience to fit your goals.

For those who want it, we can arrange classes in music theory and history that enrich your learning experience, providing essential knowledge that complements your practical skills. We believe in a holistic approach to music education, where understanding the theory and history of music is as important as playing it.
From time to time, we also run workshops and masterclasses with visiting tutors — a chance to gain expert outside input on your playing and accelerate the development of your musical talents.
Starting from £45 per hour, our tutors are self-employed professionals who set their own rates. You will always see a tutor’s specific rate on their profile before committing.
All payments are handled securely online. You are billed automatically after each lesson, with no block booking or term fees.
Don't have an instrument yet? We offer affordable instrument hire from just £7 per month, subject to availability.

All our tutors are PVG-checked through the school, highly qualified, and dedicated to their craft.

We host our own student performance opportunities and concerts throughout the year for you to showcase your musical skills.

Our tutors will support you through exams and local music festivals, ensuring you’re prepared and confident — and we’ll arrange an accompanist for you where possible.

Beyond weekly lessons, we arrange extras whenever we can — theory and music-history sessions, workshops, and masterclasses with visiting tutors — depending on demand and tutor availability.
